I am a veteran That Separated recently sat an application for a job with Northrop Grumman. Every bit of my long application packet is fine and acceptable for employment except for one part. The background investigation. Northrop Grumman Contacted me an explanation of the Requesting Things That appeared on my background investigation. I Was Able to verify and Explain All but one item. A charge for “Object Sexual Penetration By Force” on my background check in September of 2008. I’m guessing it is a pseudonym for rape? II was away on a deployment DURING That Time. Given I’ve been speeding tickets Before, That deeply but nothing criminal. I Was Told That by the company the background Investigations Conducts That I Will Be Mailed a copy of the report and That When I Receive it I am to Identify the inaccurate items and start the dispute process. This will take anywhere from one to two months. I do not Have That Much Time. Every other employer That I Have Applied to use the Same service for background checks. I will never get hired for anything This Way. How is this possible? Is there someone That I may call to speed up the process? I Offered the company faxes or scanned images of the deployment orders, But They can not accept That Until I am Mailed a copy of Their Findings. You have this Happened to anyone else? I am really in a bind now. I Was Promised a job With The Company, but now Until They Can not hire me This Mess is sorted out. The army is not Exactly Taking with open arms prior service anymore either. It is a case of mistaken Clearly identity. I am paying the price for someone’s poor job of Investigating. How do I fix this? Anyone? The company That did the bad reporting Sterling ISSA is out of Ohio.

Okay I’ll try to Make This as Detailed as possible, But concise. A friend of mine WAS Offered a job here in Ohio, But I have a felony criminal record for robbery on historical, from like 1998. I Went to a temp agency and WAS Told That It Was as long as more than “seven years” since the occurrence of the felony, I would be fine. Then I Applies at the agency, passes the skills tests for the particular employer, and Then interviews for the current employer and gets selected to not only accept the position, But He Was found Suitable for another That I Had not Higher position Interviewed for events . The position WAS temp-to-hire type of deal. Next, I goes for the drug test, and passes it with flying colors, and is Told when to report to training for the position With The company as a temp. On historical application, I wrote the date of conviction and offensive historical Supplied truthful information. Four days before starting the position, the temp calls him and tells him the position I can not start Because a felony popped up on historical background. When I Mentioned the “seven-year” Part They Stated, the rep HAD Told him something like, “Yeah I know, But It’s Because Of The type of charge it is.” Then I gets another call from the agency and the person says They want to check to make sure Some information I Was not Being discriminated Against, and asked him to verify the charge and date. When I did, the person Said That He Did not place this on the paperwork, But I Actually Placed the charge and date of conviction. I have recent work experience as a supervisor for two companies, despite HAVING Been laid-off officially, not fired or DISCHARGED. Yet, the agency never Stated to rescind the business reason to offer They Placed on the table. They mentioned “seven years” and the conversation over the phone Took place in Both instances. For you attorneys out there who great Have a passion for LAW. . . . can you tell me if He Was Against discriminated, Before we go consult an attorney to take a possible case? Thanks.

I Was Arrested in May 2006 for five counts of burglary. II was put in fun and at the end of my fun program Were the charges dropped. I Was Convicted and never plead no contest. Will it come up on a background check? And if it will, what kind of background checks? Because I Was Arrested in Florida, but i Moved to Ohio Shortly after-and when to background checks I Had nothing Came up here.
